It's Black Futures Month!

In March, Don’t Shoot Portland celebrates black futures. In February, we celebrated Black history and in March we focus on black futures; we will be promoting information that will elevate childrens’ education and artistic capabilities.

Join us from March 23rd to the 27th as we once again gather with other organizations and partners to provide educational programming for families from 10am to 4pm daily. A full infographic of activities and dates will be made available soon - keep reading for confirmed events.

Thank you to everyone who continues to make the work that Don’t Shoot Portland does possible; 2020 has been filled with support and it is all because of our community’s engagement. We are also extremely grateful for our volunteering media teams - these movements would not be captured without your passion and involvement!

Our printmaking event at Pacific Northwest College of Art this weekend was amazing - thank you to the parents, teachers, students and children and who volunteered their Saturday to celebrate the last day of Black History Month by making art of revolutionaries!
