JUNETEENTH Celebration | Proclamation Honoring Isaka Shamsud-Din at City Hall

Please join us for a community event featuring the revolutionary art of Isaka Shamsud-Din for a formal celebration of ‘Isaka Shamsud-Din Day’ at Portlands’ City Hall. This event honors one of our cities' most important artists and social justice leaders - we invite you to take part in this historical proclamation. Presentations will be hosted by local musicians with a Q&A by Isaka following. Portland City Hall will also feature an exhibit of Isaka’s images that are featured in the artists’ Juneteenth calendar; in addition to being available for sale on site, you may order your copy online here.
