CALL FOR SUPPORT

As we reach the halfway mark of the year, it’s incredible to look back at what Don’t Shoot Portland has achieved. In the last six months we’ve seen big turnouts for our programming, including January’s MLK Remembrance March, last months’ digital archiving event with DocTheNow, and our week-long youth focused Spring Break Out.

Earlier this year, we moved into our second location at the Dismantle, Change, Build Center (DCBC) to expand our programming. Just last month, we launched our Legal Clinic at the DCBC, offering a monthly housing clinic where tenants can receive free legal advice regarding matters such as housing discrimination, termination notices, evictions, repairs and more. Community has been at the core of what we do and community is what keeps us going.

To maintain the legal clinic and our space at the DCBC, we need to raise $1,200 by the end of June and are asking our community for additional support for our programs beyond June.

Can you chip in $15, $25, $50? It takes a village to make this work happen and we so appreciate your support by donating and sharing with your networks.
