Have you seen ‘All Things Being Equal’ from Hank Willis Thomas yet? Free entry to the exhibit when you mention DSP!

Last Saturday, October 12th, the Portland Art Museum hosted an opening celebration for the new Hank Willis Thomas exhibit, ‘All Things Being Equal’. The benefit dinner brought art enthusiasts and civic leaders together for the evening from around the city.

“It felt good to witness the impact of the partnerships created through this curation. The response to the exhibit has been overwhelming and we are grateful to be part of it.” - Fyndi Jermany, of Don’t Shoot Portland

On November 22, Don't Shoot Portland will be partnering with the Portland Art Museum and Umbrella Screenprinting to conduct a twenty piece sign making event featuring works from the 'I Am a Man' from Hank Williams Thomas. These signs will be the same art we will use in one our most largely attended events - the MLK: Reclaim the Dream March on January 20, 2020.

If your organization would like to endorse or volunteer at the 2020 Reclaim the Dream MLK March, please complete this form.

If you've previously endorsed last year's MLK: Reclaim the Dream March, we ask that you get in touch regarding upcoming opportunities for sponsorship.

If you would be interested in supporting our upcoming workshops and lectures, please reach out to dontshootportland@gmail.com.

As we prepare for the coldest part of the year we invite you to share in our causes by contributing. On the day of our printmaking event at Portland Art Museum, we encourage people to bring donations of non perishable food items to be redistributed to those in need; please remember this event is open to the public and to join us!
