Community Action Plan during COVID-19
Thank you to all of the first responders that are committed to keeping our communities informed and safe. This includes our grocery workers, our health care providers, the organizations granting immediate resources for those experiencing mass loss - we are thankful for the unity shown in these times.
On March 27th, the world lost civil rights leader Joseph Lowery. We encourage you all to take this time to learn more about the civil rights movement and the leaders who paved the way for human rights and dignity. In reflection of his passing, we'd like to ask you all to stream 'Spirit of Freedom', an album by LaRhonda Steele and narrated by former SNCC member Karen Trusty. Through these songs, you will feel the inspiration and tribulations faced by those in the fight for our lives. Please listen to the album here.

Special thank you to the organizations and people donating to support our work, this is a critical time for us and other organizations that are front-line partners in advocacy for families in need.
This past month’s donations made it possible for Don’t Shoot to provide meals, gas, cleaning supplies and more to individuals and our elderly community members. We ask that you please continue to support our organization as you are able!
Please stay updated on our coming webinars, as we have been transitioning our programming to be made available online. We are hoping to have the start of these online programs begin in April.
