There has been much needed community engagement and dialogue happening during our exhibition with visitors. We are so grateful to all of you who have made time to experience our Liberated Archives programming. Thank you to HOLDING Contemporary for hosting our third exhibition and for all of your support of our work. Please share your reflections of the installation by filling out this journal poll if you haven’t already. We will be archiving all submissions.

For those that missed the installation, we will have all of its’ digital components added to our website, including a virtual walk-through, by the weeks’ end.

Thank you so much to Mateo Hermida and Diane Nguyen of Legal Aid Services of Oregon for hosting a workshop covering COVID-19 tenant protections, eviction basics and expungements.

We are so grateful to the legal volunteers who offer their time and energy to share this information at such a crucial time. If you missed the webinar, you may view the recorded version here

To end Black August on Saturday we partnered with community volunteers to host a food distribution and were able to provide so many with these organic fruits and vegetables. Thank you so much to our community partners, including Sanctuary Produce Farmand African American INC, for being on-site and connecting with so many. If you or someone you know is in need, please reach out to sign up for our free meal and produce distribution

Join us again at Dawson Park this Labor Day as we host another free distro to the public. We are accepting any and all brand new school supplies for the coming year. Please support this initiative by dropping off donations at Dawson Park from 12pm to 2pm on September 6, 2021.
