NO ThanksGiving + day four of our virtual panel NotBlackFriday!

We want to begin this newsletter by thanking the countless efforts of so many that showed up to support Ahmaud Arbery and his family in seeking accountability for his senseless murder. If it were not for this activism, this trial would have happened; made evident by the atrocious criminal cover-up attempted by the county’s officials.

The power of protest can never be understated. We are sending love and power to Arbery’s family and loved ones.

Day four of our panel will coincide with NoThanksgiving, where we will be in discussion with Robyn Pebeahsy and Lucy Smartlowit of War Cry Podcast. War Cry Podcast is an all Native female run podcast showcasing Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and People (MMIWP), including LGTBQ2S. Primarily focused on the Pacific NW but not limited to international MMIWP issues in Canada and Mexico. Instead of celebrating genocide we encourage you to use this as a day of remembrance and education.

Join the conversation today from 12pm to 1:30pm here. Questions in the chat are welcome!
