Please support us today on Giving Tuesday!
This Giving Tuesday, we want to ask our supporters to consider making a donation to keep our work going. Every dollar of our programming is sustained directly by donors like you. There is not enough to be said on how big of an impact your donations create through the life changing services we provide to those across Portland.
From fighting racial discrimination to amplifying families’ calls for justice to securing safe housing for those in need and so much more, we will always center our community’s most vulnerable and it wouldn’t be possible without you - Thank You!
Donate today. Become a $20 donor & make it monthly!
We are seeking sponsors for our annual Reclaim MLK March on January 20, 2025 - please send an email to us at contact@dontshootpdx.org for our organizations' donor deck and other ways to support.
This year we experienced a vast response to our Not Black Friday free meal program and thanks to donors and volunteers, were able to distribute almost 300 fresh cooked meals! We are extremely grateful to make this work possible with the commitment of Chef Ricky Bella of Palomar and the coordination efforts of our Social Outreach Committee - thank you all so much for providing care to our community.
Our Board President, activist and artist Taishona Carpenter, was invited toRace Forward’sannual Facing Race conference to debut several research-led installations to showcase ourLiberated Archivesseries. Over 4,000 people from across the country convened in St. Louis, Missouri to advance racial justice! From the panel presentations and breakout discussions, it was an honor to meet and be in conversation with so many changemakers working in different sectors and paths toward social change.
