Artist Talk at The BLACK Gallery

Join us for an artist talk and closing reception for Resistance is Happening Now: Archiving the Black Lives Matter Movement. We are deeply grateful to those who have come to experience the exhibit and deliver tribute to those who have fought on the front lines for human rights.

What: Artist Talk & Closing Reception
When: Thursday, October 3 from 4 to 6pm
Where: The BLACK Gallery, 916 NW Flanders Street Portland, OR 97209

Photographers Kathryn Kendall and Bear Perry will speak about their documenting of the Black Lives Matter movement as well as intersecting causes. Don’t Shoot Portland/The BLACK Gallery directors Taishona Carpenter and Teressa Raiford will discuss the curation and intention behind the installation.

Light refreshments will be served, please stay home if you are feeling unwell. Masks will be available.
